PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root vegetable harvester having an excellent harvesting performance by precisely pulling a root vegetable out of the underground and causing a drawing and transportation unit to surely clamp and dig out the vegetable by a low power.SOLUTION: A digging upper body is constructed to include two right and left downward extended beams 20; and spatulas 21 attached to the inside lower end portions of the beams 20. The spatulas 21 are disposed transversely symmetrically in a front view in a V-shape, and are inclined upward from the front to the back. The rear ends of the spatulas 21 are positioned below follower pulleys 31 of a drawing and transportation unit 3 disposed at an inclination to rise backward, and are located in front of the extension of a follower pulley rotation center axis 310, and at the back of a vertical line 311 passing through an intersection between the follower pulley rotation center axis 310 and the center line of a conveyor belt 30. |
