PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a detection function of a tread force with a simple structure in a drive unit of a bicycle.SOLUTION: A drive unit 10 includes: a crank shaft 14; a first rotation transmission member 16; an intermediate shaft 18; a second rotation transmission member 20; a support shaft 22; a third rotation transmission member 24; and a sensor part 26. The first rotation transmission member 16 is provided at the crank shaft 14 and rotations of first and second crank arms 101a, 101b are transmitted to the first rotation transmission member 16. The intermediate shaft 18 is disposed so as to be separated from the crank shaft 14. The second rotation transmission member 20 is provided at the intermediate shaft 18. Rotations of the first rotation transmission member 16 are transmitted to the second rotation transmission member 20. The support shaft 22 is disposed so as to be separated from the crank shaft 14 and the intermediate shaft 18. The third rotation transmission member 24 is provided at the support shaft 22. Rotations of the second rotation transmission member 20 are transmitted to the third rotation transmission member 24. The sensor part 26 detects a force acting on the intermediate shaft 18. |
