PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable type key preventing the joint part between a grip and a key blade from being damaged even when it is inserted into a keyhole of a cylinder lock as a lock for a fixture and unlocking operation is performed.SOLUTION: Neutrality holding means 8 holding a use position when a key 2 is rotated from a storage position of a grip 1 to the use position substantially perpendicular to a front end surface is provided in a fixing support shaft 5. The neutrality holding means consists of: a rotation plate 10 fitted to a fitting part formed in a concentric circle of a center shaft part of the fixing support shaft to be rotatable within a predetermined range, and having a receiving part capable of engaging with an engaging part of a base end part of the key; and a holding spring member 9 provided in the center shaft part in a state that one end thereof is supported by the rotation plate, and meanwhile, having the other end supported by the fixing support shaft. A load exceeding a set torque value is applied to a joining part between the fixing support shaft and the base end part of the key through a body of rotation with respect to the set torque value of a holding coefficient of the holding spring member when rotating and operating a grip. Thereby, the key is displaced in a direction of further rotation from the use position against a spring force of the holding spring member. |
