METHOD FOR RAISING THE LEVEL OF UNDERGROUND WATERS IN DEPRESSION ZONE OF OPEN PIT

A method for raising the level of underground waters in depression zone of a open pit placed near a built-up area according to which in the zone a hydraulic screen for increase of pressure in water-bearing horizon is formed through supply of water to natural descent of relief with formation of natural water reservoir and infiltration to water-bearing horizon. Water is supplied to water reservoir from pressure collector of draining system of the pit.
