PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner device capable of assuring stable combustion.SOLUTION: This burner device is fixed at the peripheral edge of a diffusion tower 100 to ignite combustible gas diffused from the diffusion tower 100 into surrounding atmosphere. An extremity end 10a of a gas pipe 10 to which primary air is supplied together with combustion gas is inclined at the top part of the diffusion tower 100 to face inside the diffusion tower 100. There is provided a flame holding cylinder 25 for enclosing a flame ignited at the end part of the extremity end 10a of the gas pipe 10 and secondary air is taken into the flame holding cylinder 25. The flame holding cylinder 25 has a substantial cylindrical shape of which the diameter is larger than that of the gas pipe 10 with its front surface 25a being released. This flame holding cylinder is arranged to enclose in an annular form the extremity end 10a of the gas pipe 10 inserted from the center of its circular rear surface 25b. This flame holding cylinder is provided with air supplying devices 21, 22 for forcibly sucking the secondary air and feeding it with compressed air into the flame holding cylinder 25 through a secondary air supplying pipe 20. |
