PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a communication throughput between a base station and a communication terminal through a satellite.SOLUTION: The communication terminal for transmitting CDMA-spread transmission data to the base station through the satellite includes: a CDMA spreading unit for CDMA-spreading the transmission data; an orthogonal code generator unit for generating an orthogonal code for use for CDMA spreading by the CDMA spreading unit; a TDMA processing unit for delaying the transmission data CDMA-spread by the CDMA spreading unit according to a transmission time slot; an FDMA processing unit for frequency converting the transmission data delayed by the TDMA processing unit; and a random selector unit for randomly selecting and supplying a spread code channel for use by the orthogonal code generator unit, and for randomly selecting and supplying a time slot channel to be the basis of a time to delay the transmission data by the TDMA processing unit, and for randomly selecting and supplying a frequency channel to be frequency converted by the FDMA processing unit. |
