PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root vegetable harvester having an excellent harvesting performance by precisely pulling a root vegetable out of the underground and causing a drawing and transportation unit to surely clamp and dig out the vegetable by a low power.SOLUTION: A digging upper body is constructed to include two right and left extended beams 20; and spatulas 21 attached to the inside lower end portions of the beams 20. The spatulas 21 are disposed transversely symmetrically in a front view in a V-shape, and are inclined upward from the front to the back. At the front end portions of the right and left spatulas 21, there are positioned digging blades 212, and parallel portions 213 of a constant width are so formed in front of the spatulas 21 as to continue from the digging blades 212. Protrusions 214 are provided which become gradually wider inward as they go backward from the parallel portions 213 in a shape gradually narrower from the projection tops toward rear end portions 215. |
