PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation of air electrodes in a solid oxide fuel cell that includes internal-manifold type unit cell stacks using glass seal.SOLUTION: A unit cell stack includes a through groove 110 that is provided around a first manifold hole 111a and that is a continuous band-like slit. The through groove 110 penetrates through a cell holder plate 101. It is important that the through groove 110 is formed at least from between the first manifold hole 111a and a third manifold hole 112a to between the first manifold hole 111a and a cell housing opening 113.
