PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device that deals with variations in components and can accurately perform positioning control for an optical head with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An optical disk device includes: a pickup 12; a drive mechanism 12b that drives the pickup 12; and a drive control unit that applies, to the drive mechanism 12b, an initial drive voltage which makes the pickup 12 reach an outermost peripheral position to be a mechanical limit position on an outer periphery side, for a predetermined period until the pickup 12 reaches the outermost peripheral position. The drive control unit applies, to the drive mechanism 12b, an adjustment drive voltage, which has a voltage amplitude smaller than that of the initial drive voltage or has a drive frequency lower than that of the initial drive voltage, after elapse of the predetermined period. |
