PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of burying an equipment basin with which, even when soil pressure is applied to a side face part or the like of an equipment basin, the side face part or the like of the equipment basin can be prevented from being damaged, and the equipment basin.SOLUTION: A method of burying an equipment basin 1A includes the steps of: drilling a surface of the ground in which a piping 30 is buried to form a drilling hole 31; disposing the equipment basin 1A within the drilling hole 31 in such a manner that the equipment basin 1A is disposed over the piping 30, the equipment basin 1A comprising a top plate part 10 in which a top face opening is formed, a first sidewall part 12 drooped from the top plate part 10 and a second sidewall part 13 opposing to the first sidewall part 12 and drooped from the top plate part 10; disposing a support member 40 which supports the first sidewall part 12 and the second sidewall part 13 and holds an interval between the first sidewall part 12 and the second sidewall part 13, higher than lower ends of the first sidewall part 12 and the second sidewall part 13; and installing concrete on the bottom of the drilling hole 31 which is positioned between the lower end of the first sidewall part 12 and the lower end of the second sidewall part 13. The support member 40 is positioned above the concrete. |
