PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cleaning efficiency of a piercer for carrying out boring of a cap of a specimen container.SOLUTION: A piercer cleaning port 26 is provided at a position different from a sampling position on the locus of a piercer 8. The piercer cleaning port 26 is cylindrically shaped and has an opening for inserting the piercer 8 on the upper surface and a cleaning space 32 for accommodating the piercer 8 inserted from the opening. The inner wall surface of the piercer cleaning port 26 is provided with an air ejection opening 42 for ejecting air and a cleaning liquid discharge port 44 for discharging water as a cleaning liquid. The air ejection opening 42 is provided at four equal places on the circumference along the inner wall surface of the cleaning space 32. The cleaning liquid discharge port 44 is provided at a position different from the air ejection opening 42, that is, at the four equal places on the circumference along the inner wall surface of the cleaning space 32. |
