<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform smooth settlement verification at low cost for a non-resident securities transaction of which settlements have been determined to be inconsistent by an error verification function of the Japan Securities Depository Center system.SOLUTION: A settlement amount automatic modification system receives a settlement order for a non-resident securities transaction from a foreign agent, and transmits settlement order data including a first settlement amount on the basis of the settlement order to the Japan Securities Depository Center system. The settlement amount automatic modification system receives a result of settlement verification executed by an error verification function of the Japan Securities Depository Center system for the first settlement amount and a second settlement amount transmitted from a settlement partner. When the verification result indicates failure in the settlement verification, the settlement amount automatic modification system reads out allowable error data preset by the foreign agent from an allowable error data storage unit which stores allowable error data indicating a correction error amount allowed by each foreign agent. When the error between the first settlement amount and the second settlement amount is equal to or less than the allowable error indicated by the allowable error data, the settlement amount automatic modification system transmits the modified first settlement amount to the Japan Securities Depository Center system.</p> |
