<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface preparation tool for bolt and nut, capable of efficiently and surely removing rust and a deteriorated coat caused on the surface of a splice bolt of a bridge or the like by grinding, and supplied for a long time use.SOLUTION: A spiral brush 2 is formed by one turn of spirally curving a channel brush 2A having a length substantially equal to the circumferential length of a cup-like body 1 with a brush wire 2a projected in the radial direction toward the center of the cup-like body 1, and mounted to the inner peripheral surface of the cup-like body 1. The cup-like body 1 is put on a bolt head and a nut, and the tips of the brush wires 2a connected in a line in the spiral direction are brought into sliding contact with the peripheral surfaces of the bolt head and the nut. In this state, the cup-like body 1 is rotated by an electric tool to grind the surfaces of the bolt head and the nut.</p> |
