<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to efficiently and sufficiently prevent dust from being generated in a toner image carried on a recording medium or an end face of the recording medium from being stained with toner when the recording medium transferred from a transfer part is conveyed toward a fixing nip part.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a transfer guide member 41 for guiding a recording medium P transferred from a transfer part M, and a fixing guide member 42 for guiding the recording medium P to be transferred to a fixing nip part N. In the transfer guide member 41, at least a surface facing the recording medium P is formed of an electrically-floating metal material, and is extended to a position overlapping a conveyance surface of the fixing guide member 42 so as not to form a gap with the fixing guide member 42.</p> |
