<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection type display device capable of avoiding concealment by an excessive display medium with regard to a mark disposed on an electrode substrate, and a manufacturing method of the reflection type display device.SOLUTION: A reflection type display device encapsulates a liquid display medium including at least one kind of electricity-responsive material between two opposing substrates. At least one of the two substrates is transparent, and an electrode is formed on each of the two substrates. The display medium performs predetermined display when a predetermined electric field is applied between the two substrates. A first mark is arranged outside a display area utilized for the predetermined display of a first substrate. A light permeable mark cover member is arranged so as to make contact with the first mark and a surface facing the first mark of a second substrate.</p> |
