PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an inexpensive and high-precision motor drive apparatus.SOLUTION: A motor drive apparatus 10 comprises: a driver 1 supplied with a power supply voltage Vcc and applying a plurality of phase-voltages U, V, W to a motor 20; a divided phase-voltage generator 2 for dividing the plurality of phase-voltages U, V, W in order to generate a plurality of divided phase-voltages VU, VV, VW; a neutral-point-voltage generator 3 for synthesizing and dividing the plurality of phase-voltages U, V, W so as to generate a neutral-point-voltage Vref; a selector 4 for selecting any one of the plurality of divided phase-voltages VU, VV, VW so as to output the one as a selected divide phase-voltage Vs; a comparator 5 for comparing the selected divided phase-voltage Vs with the neutral-point-voltage Vref so as to generate a comparison signal S1; and a controller 6 for generating, in accordance with the comparison signal S1, a selection control signal S2 of the selector 4 and an energization control signal S3 of the driver 1. |
