PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record an image free from uneven brightness and excellent in color reproducibility and graininess in an intermediate tone portion, by using ink with flexibility.SOLUTION: In an ink jet recorder, a nozzle for discharging curable ink cured by receiving activation energy is a row of nozzles arranged in a first direction with a spacing of P, and from the nozzles of an ink jet head in which a row of N (N≥2) nozzles for each color that discharge ink of N colors individually is arranged in the first direction with a spacing of P/N, ink, which contains ink pigment and polymerizable compound including at least N-vinyllactams, has 90% diameter of volume cumulative distribution of particle diameter of the ink pigment as 500 nm or less, and the percentage content of the N-vinyllactams of which is 3% to 24%, is discharged, to form an image. |
