PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a stator, by which a roundness of core configuration parts arranged annularly, and to provide an electric pump.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a stator 10 comprises: a core arranging step of arranging core configuration parts 14 (14U, 14V, 14W) annularly; an implement insertion step of inserting the core configuration parts 14 arranged annularly into a fastening implement 106; a holding step of bringing the core configuration parts 14 into close contact with each other in the circumferential direction by reducing the diameter of the fastening implement 106 and of holding the roundness of the core configuration parts 14 arranged annularly; a case arrangement step of arranging a stator case 70 on an outer peripheral side of the core configuration parts 14 held by the fastening implement 106; a caulking step of integrating the stator core 70 with the core configuration parts 14 as a result of forming a plastically deformed groove 72 on an outer peripheral surface of the stator case 70; and a holding cancellation step of cancelling the hold of the core configuration parts 14 performed by the fastening implement 106. |
