PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the length, the thickness and the width of an imaging device.SOLUTION: An imaging device 50 includes an electronic circuit board, which comprises a processing element and a vision sensor. The imaging device 50 supports a PCB 52 and other components, including mechanical parts, electronic circuits and/or optics of the imaging device 50. In use, the PCB 52 is bent or folded on a carrier frame 54. This reduction in size can be achieved by subsuming a lens barrel volume within the interior of the folded PCB 52. |
