An information leakage prevention system using a linkage between an agent and a network device is disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the information leakage prevention method using a linkage between an agent and a network device includes a step of monitoring data which is transmitted from a client terminal inside an intranet to the outside of the intranet; a step of transmitting information extracted from the data to an agent installed on the client terminal when data transmitted to the outside of the intranet is detected; a step of receiving search results from the agent; and a step of determining whether to allow the data to be transmitted to the outside of the intranet based on the search results.
