PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a natural composite image by eliminating a missing pixel value in a three-dimensional object.SOLUTION: A three-dimensional object mask image generation part 22 generates a three-dimensional object mask image for specifying a pixel indicating a three-dimensional object in a texture image captured at a time T. A projecting surface polygon data generation part 24 generates complementary projection surface polygon data showing correspondence between a texture image coordinate value at a time (T-&Dgr;T) and points on a three-dimensional projection surface 8 at the time T, using a camera position at the time (T-&Dgr;T), represented by a vehicle coordinate system at the time T calculated based on projection surface polygon data at the time T and a moving amount of a vehicle 1, by means of virtual view point projection. An image synthesis part 26 draws the texture image at the time (T-&Dgr;T) on the basis of the complementary projection surface polygon data in a pixel indicating the three-dimensional object, in drawing the texture image projected on the three-dimensional projection surface 8 from a viewpoint determined in a view point position determination part 25 on the composite image. |
