<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance convenience of reproduction time etc. by file division at a point of scene change.SOLUTION: After the start of digitalization of an analog image signal obtained from a magnetic tape and recording the result on a first image file, when the size of the first image file amounts to a reference size (such as 3.6 GB) set on the basis of the upper limit size 4GB of an FAT 32, the presence and absence of the point of scene change is monitored. At a timing when the point of scene change is detected (t[3]), recording of the image data into the first image file is finished and following image data is recorded in a second image file.</p> |
