PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which a photographer has to arrange a different strobe light emission device at an appropriate illumination position beforehand when a strobe light emission device of the main camera and a different strobe light emission device are used together to illuminate a subject.SOLUTION: According to a first embodiment of the present invention, the illumination auxiliary device communicating with a main imaging device photographing a subject by an operation of the photographer is provided that comprises: an illumination part that subserves an illumination onto the subject; an instruction acquisition part that acquires an illumination instruction for causing the illumination part to subserve the illumination from the main imaging device; and a movement part that moves the illumination part.
