PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cell control device and the like capable of materializing a bed apparatus with high safety and convenience by controlling support cells according to situations of the bed apparatus and a patient.SOLUTION: The air cell control device controls air cells disposed between a deck part and a mat body of a bed apparatus 1. The air cells include support cells 10 and main cells 12. The air cell control device includes: detection means for detecting back lifting operation or knee lifting operation of the bed apparatus; and control means that, when the detection means detects the back lifting operation or the knee lifting operation of the bed apparatus, controls internal pressure of the support cells 10 by supplying air such that the support cells has set pressure.
