<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a disadvantage, which a user incurs due to power shutdown, while shortening a time required to discontinue feed of a line voltage when an instruction for discontinuing the feed of the line voltage is issued during printing of print information received from an external device.SOLUTION: When an instruction for switching actions to interrupt a line voltage is received during receiving of print information, processing of ceasing the receiving of the print information, processing of storing suspension information, which signifies that the receiving of the print information has been suspended, in a memory, printing processing of forming an image on a sheet of paper on the basis of stored print information, and ejecting the sheet of paper on which the image is formed based on the stored print information, and processing of discontinuing feed of the line voltage after the printing processing is completed are carried out. When the instruction for switching actions to feed the line voltage is received, if the suspension information is stored in the memory, the feed of the line voltage is initiated, and the fact that the receiving of the print information has been suspended is reported.</p> |
