PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quench detector of a superconducting coil capable of detecting quench with high sensitivity.SOLUTION: In a quench detector 1 of a superconducting coil 5, a first superconducting coil 3 and a second superconducting coil 4 have the same shape, the first axis line L1 of a first superconducting coil 3 and the second axis line L2 of a second superconducting coil 4 are arranged at the same position in the same direction. The position of a first superconducting coil 3 in that direction is the same as the position of a second superconducting coil 4, and the length of the winding 3a of a first superconducting coil 3 is the same as the length of the winding 4a of a second superconducting coil 4. |
