PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce load on a system, and to reduce display burn-in without arranging a large memory on an organic EL display panel.SOLUTION: An image processing IC in a body part detects a fixed pattern displayed on an organic EL display panel during power-on of a power source, stores a display position of the detected fixed pattern on a first memory when the power source is off, reads the display position of the fixed pattern stored in the first memory when the power source is on, and transmits it to a drive circuit of the organic EL display device. The drive circuit measures device characteristics of a pixel located in the display position of the fixed pattern transmitted from the image processing IC of the body part, compares it with device characteristics of an undeteriorated pixel in the organic EL display panel stored in a second memory, and transmits it to the image processing IC in the body part. The image processing IC in the body part corrects image data to be input to the pixel located in the display position of the fixed pattern on the basis of a comparison result transmitted from the drive circuit. |
