PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system that is smooth and safe in sheet conveyance, without causing improper operation of pulling out a transferring sheet to the outside.SOLUTION: A stack tray 40 comprises a paper loading tray 42 disposed at the downstream side of a processing tray and having a paper loading surface 42a inclined at a predetermined angle, a control surface for controlling a rear edge of a sheet supported on the paper loading surface, and tray shift means for vertically moving the paper loading tray. A switchback path comprises a rectilinear path in communication with a paper output unit, and a guide tray 30 having a supporting surface connected with this. The rectilinear path is disposed below the processing tray, and the guide tray is disposed below the paper loading tray, respectively. The stack tray and the guide tray are formed such that the paper loading surface is formed at a first inclination angle α of an acute angle degree on the basis of the control surface and the supporting surface 30a is formed at a second inclination angle &bgr; and a third inclination angle γ of the acute angle degree. This second inclination angle is formed at an angle slower than the first inclination angle α, and the third inclination angle γ is formed at the angle steeper than the first inclination angle α, which are formed in &bgr;>α>γ on the basis of the control surface. |
