PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which, when a focus plane is focused on a main subject, an image having no parallax to the main subject has been captured.SOLUTION: The imaging device comprises: a plurality of two-dimensionally arrayed photoelectric conversion elements that photoelectrically converts incident light passing through an optical system and coming from a subject to an electric signal; an image-pickup element that has a light shield part provided with an opening for causing light from a part area in a cross sectional area of the incident light to be respectively made incident to a plurality of corresponding photoelectric conversion elements; and a control part that controls at least one of the optical system and the image-pickup element and thereby controls a relative position of the focus plane to be formed by the optical system to a light reception plane of the image-pickup element. By shifting a position of the focus plane to be formed by the optical system with respect to the subject and the light reception plane of the image-pickup element, the control part causes an image signal including the parallax to the subject to be output from the image-pickup element. |
