PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED bulb capable of securing light distribution characteristics similar to those of a conventional incandescent bulb while producing sufficient effects of heat release on heat generation during lighting on LED elements as light emitting sources.SOLUTION: An LED module 1 constructed with a transparent substrate 7 to both ends of which lead terminals 9 are joined, on which electrode patterns 8 electrically connected to the lead terminals 9 are formed, and which has LED elements 2 mounted on the electrode patterns 8. The transparent substrate 7 is adhered and fixed to an immaculate columnar glass body 31 fused to a glass flare 20, the lead terminals 9 are joined to lead wires 25, 26 air-tightly passing through the glass flare 20, and the glass flare 20 is air-tightly fused to a glass bulb 40. Thus, the LED module 1 is stored and held in the glass bulb 40 into which inactive gas is filled. |
