PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp device.SOLUTION: In a clamp device (1) for a machine tool (2) having a power chuck (3), a clamp jaw (4) of the power chuck can be actuated by the clamp device (1) via a motion converter (7') and a tension rod (8). A drive motor (11) has a switching element (21) attached to the drive motor, the switching element (21) can be adjusted by axial direction control at the center position and two limit positions. An adjustment element (21) can be connected to an adjustment element (52) connectable to the clamp device (1) at one limit position, and connectable to an auxiliary device (51) at the other limit position. The switching element (21) can be locked to the limit positions by a mechanical spindle (5), and thus, an application range of the clamp device can be increased without spoiling the functions of the clamp device (1) and with little structural complexity since a clamp element integrated with the power chuck (3) can be operated by similarly using the drive motor (11) by the switching element (21). |
