PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which prevents dirt from depositing on a back side of a pulsator.SOLUTION: In the washing machine which comprises: a housing; an outer tank which is supported in the housing and stores water in an inner part thereof; an inner tank which is accommodated in the outer tank and stores laundry therein; a pulsator arranged at a bottom surface part in the inner tank; a driving device for rotatably driving the pulsator; and water supply means for supplying water into the outer tank, and has a washing step, a rinsing step and a dehydrating step, the washing machine closes a drain valve after discharging water used in the rinsing step, rotates the pulsator in a state that water is stored in a bottom of the outer tank, and opens the drain valve while the pulsator rotates. |
