PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker preventing a heating-target material from being overheated and immediately stopping heating when taking fire even if a user selects a wrong heating method.SOLUTION: A heating cooker 1 includes: a cooking chamber into or out of which a heating-target material can be put and which partitions a heating chamber; a microwave oven cooking mechanism 37 irradiating the heating-target material with high-frequency radio wave to heat it; a temperature measuring device measuring the temperature of the heating-target material in the heating chamber; an input part receiving input of high-frequency radio wave irradiation time of a high-frequency wave generator; and an overheat prevention control part 65 which monitors a measurement result by the temperature measuring device in the middle of irradiation of the high-frequency radio wave by the microwave oven cooking mechanism 37, reduces high-frequency radio wave output of the microwave oven cooking mechanism 37 when the measured temperature by the temperature measuring device reaches a pre-determined prescribed high-temperature detection temperature Ts, continuously monitors the measurement result by the temperature measuring device, and stops the high-frequency radio wave irradiation by the microwave oven cooking mechanism 37 even before high-frequency radio wave irradiation time t passes, even if the measured temperature by the temperature measuring device is on the rise. |
