PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce the number of output terminals on a chip incorporating a control signal generation unit for generating a control signal used to change over switching modes of an inverter circuit.SOLUTION: In a master drive circuit 30, a control signal including a digital value representing a switching mode of an inverter circuit 50 and a digital value representing a duty ratio of a drive signal is converted into a serial signal by using a clock signal. In a slave drive circuit 40, the digital value representing a switching mode and the digital value representing a duty ratio are decoded from the serial signal by using the clock signal. Therefore, by only transmitting the control signal turned into a serial signal and the clock signal from the master drive circuit 30 to the slave drive circuit 40, it is possible for the slave drive circuit 40 to acquire the information necessary to generate a drive signal. |
