PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital signal output device that outputs a digital signal for controlling an external device by inputting control data such as, for example, a PLC (programmable logic controller), detects abnormality when the abnormality generates in an output insulation device and can detect a defect.SOLUTION: A digital signal output from an internal calculation circuit 2 of a digital signal output device 1 is output to a digital signal output terminal 8 via a photocoupler serving as an output insulation device 3 and output via a photocoupler serving as an output insulation device 4. Respective outputs of the output insulation devices 3 and 4 are compared in a comparison circuit 11, and when mismatched, an abnormality signal is output to an alarm output terminal 15 and thereby the defect of the output insulation device 3 or 4 is detected. |
