<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generating set for vehicle, capable of reducing fuel quantity consumed in power generation by minimizing degradation in regeneration power amount by combustion power generation, in view of an active region of an internal combustion engine that performs power generation as well as charge states of a battery.SOLUTION: In a vehicle that includes a power generator driven by an internal combustion engine for power generation and a battery charged by generated power of the power generator to perform idle stop at a predetermined vehicle speed or lower, a battery voltage that is a terminal-to-terminal voltage of the battery is detected during power generation control of the vehicle performing power generation control to reduce a fuel quantity consumed in power generation of the internal combustion engine and, when the detected battery voltage reaches a predetermined combustion power generation interruption voltage or exceeds the combustion power generation interruption voltage, power generation causing fuel consumption of the internal combustion engine is interrupted.</p> |
