<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect both of abrasion loss of brake shoes and malfunction of a brake device.SOLUTION: A drum brake device includes a brake drum rotated with wheels, a pair of brake shoes 2 disposed in opposition to an inner periphery of the brake drum, and generating braking force by being pressed to the brake drum, an expander 10 disposed between the pair of brake shoes 2, and pressing the brake shoes 2 to the inner periphery of the brake drum in braking, a return spring 30 connected to the pair of brake shoes 2 at both ends, and separating the brake shoes 2 from the brake drum in releasing brake, and a pair of stroke sensors 40 supported by a pin 16 fixed to the expander 10 at one end 41, supported by a pin 31 connecting the return spring 30 to the brake shoes 2 at the other end 42, and detecting positions of the brake shoes 2 to the expander 10.</p> |
