<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle electronic control device capable of minimizing the volume of event occurrence cause analysis data to be secured in rewritable nonvolatile memory.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle electronic control device performs: storing, in RAM in a given cycle, a total of categories of storage-target data set for each diagnosis, other than a failure code, as freeze frame data; obtaining a failure code of a diagnosis of which a reference clock-time is established by occurrence of a given failure; storing the obtained failure code in a failure code column of the freeze frame data of each frame stored in the RAM (S432); reading a data table corresponding to the diagnosis from ROM (S434); selecting and obtaining storage-target data corresponding to the diagnosis from the freeze frame data of each frame stored in a ring buffer of the RAM on the basis of the data table (S436); and storing the storage-target data in a storage zone of EEPROM secured for each diagnosis (S438).</p> |
