PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ballot transport device that can visually check a vertically inverted section, while shielding the vertically inverted section from the outside.SOLUTION: An expanded inversion unit 2 that is a ballot transport device includes: a transport path 200 for transporting ballots; a vertically inverted section 22 for inverting the orientation in the vertical direction of the ballots transported on the transport path 200; a casing 20 having an opening, and encasing at least a portion of the transport path 200 and the vertically inverted section 22; and a cover section 51 attached to the casing 20, and covering an area corresponding to at least the vertically inverted section 22 at the opening. The cover section 51 is transparent or semi-transparent in the area corresponding to the vertically inverted section 22. |
