PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mating structure of an instrument panel and a console, capable of improving the appearance quality of a mating portion between an abutting end portion of the instrument panel and an abutting end portion of the console.SOLUTION: An abutting end portion 11 of an instrument panel 1 and an abutting end portion 21 of a console 2 are made to abut on each other. The abutting end portion 11 of the instrument panel 1 is formed in a projection shape projecting toward the console side and having an acute-angled cross section. The abutting end portion 21 of the console 2 is formed in a projection shape bent to a reversed side, and a parting line of the console 2 is formed at an apex 21T of the abutting end portion 21. Of a pair of outer surfaces 11M and 11N positioned across an apex 11T of the abutting end portion 11 of the instrument panel 1, on the outer surface 11N bent to the reversed side of the instrument panel 1, the apex 21T of the abutting end portion 21 of the console 2 abuts. |
