METHOD FOR PREDICTING STATE OF CARDIOVASCULAR AND RESPIRATORY SYSTEMS IN NEWBORN

The method for predicting the state of cardiovascular and respiratory systems in the newborn comprises the assessment of the functional metabolic changes in the newborns. The polymorphism of ACE, TNF-α, and MTHFR is analyzed. The presence of DD genotype of ACE gene, 308AA genotype of TNF-α gene, and 677CT, 677TT genotypes of MTHFR gene suggests the deterioration of the state of cardiovascular and respiratory systems necessitating the long-term intensive therapy with artificial lung ventilation.
