The present invention relates to a novel use of piperine compounds or Piper retrofractum extracts, and more specifically, to compositions for anti-aging or reducing wrinkles comprising piperine compounds or Piper retrofractum extracts as active ingredients. Compositions of the present invention have an effect of inhibiting collagenase and accelerating collagen production, thereby being effective for improving skin wrinkles and anti-aging; and have an effect of increasing differentiation activity of ceramide synthesis enzymes and epidermal keratinocytes, thereby effectively moisturizing skin.
