FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. A surgical instrument with proximal and distal end sections and a middle section extending in between comprises an elongated, hollow external rod extending from the proximal end section to the distal end section, a driving element rotating inside the external rod, as well as a boring, cutting, abrasive or milling instrument on the distal end section of the instrument and connected to the driving element. The driving element has a flexible section between the proximal and distal end sections comprising a number of ring segments each of which has first and second axially spaced end segments, the first of which comprises two or more axially projecting flanges, and the second end segment - two or more female hollows. The ring segments are movably stepped into each other with flanges and hollows. The flanges and hollows of the ring segments are coupled together and geometrically coupled in the axial and/or radial direction. The external rod comprises a conjunction zone within the distal end segment movably connecting the distal end segment and the middle segment together. The flexible segment of the driving element has an axial length that relates to at least an axial length of the conjunction zone of the external rod. The instrument comprises a control element provided on the external rod and used to deflect the distal end segment of the instrument in relation to the middle segment.EFFECT: invention provides cutting the manufacturing expenses and ensuring the more reliable operation, first with high rotation speed and a number of various operating situations.27 cl, 7 dwg |
