FIELD: measurement equipment.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the area of contactless measurement of density of a porous material using measurement of a coefficient of refraction of a material by means of optical coherent tomography. With the help of the method of optical coherent tomography they determine the optical path corresponding to passage of a light beam through the object made of the porous material, which is spherical and hollow, and the light beam is used to realise the specified method, they determine the thickness of the object, the coefficient of refraction of the porous material on the basis of the optical path and thickness, and then they determine density of the porous material on the basis of a certain coefficient of refraction.EFFECT: invention provides for increased accuracy of density detection.3 cl, 7 dwg, 1 tbl |
