In the present invention, disclosed are a base station apparatus and an operating method thereof, capable of increasing a handover success rate and reducing unnecessary retrial time by performing handover through an S1 interface without the handover retrial through an X2 interface when the handover through the X2 interface is failed by simultaneously performing the handover to a target base station through the X2 interface and the S1 interface with regard to a handover request of a terminal which is frequently generated by various base stations located in the same zone. |
