The embodiment of the present invention relates a method and system for detecting an attack on a web server by detecting an abnormal behavior by monitoring traffic transmitted from the web server to the outside. Provided is the method for detecting the attack on the web server which includes the steps of: collecting a web document; generating a normal behavior model by using the collected web document; detecting the abnormal behavior in the web document transmitted from the web server to the outside; and determining the attack if the abnormal behavior is detected.
