The present invention relates to a cowcatcher for railway vehicles, comprising a body of which the front side is open and which has a space inside; an impact absorbing member which is inserted into the space of the body and which contracts when colliding with obstacles; and a cover for covering the front side of the body. Therefore, the cowcatcher for railway vehicles reduces damage to a vehicle body and injured passengers caused by impact by absorbing and dissipating impact caused by a collision of a railway vehicle with obstacles to minimize impact delivered to the railway vehicle when the obstacles are removed from a railway during the drive of the railway vehicle; and minimizes costs and time for installation and production by simplifying the structure. |
