The present invention relates to an overheating preventive structure for a reducer of an industrial robot, which comprises: a reducer housing (10) which is installed on a base (5), has an internal space (11) that is open in a horizontal direction, and where a motor shaft (7a) of an outer rotating motor (7) protrudes inward at the center thereof; a reducer (20) which rotates on a shaft by being mounted on the motor shaft (7a) of the reducer housing (10); a rotary body (30) having a reducer cover (31) which rotates on a shaft along with the reducer (20) in a combining state of covering the exterior of the reducer (20); and an overheating preventive unit which prevents the high heat of the rotating motor (7) from being transmitted to the reducer (20) inside the reducer housing (10). Therefore, the overheating preventive structure for a reducer of an industrial robot can promote the life extension of a reducer by protecting the reducer through fundamental blockage of the overheat of a rotating motor to the reducer, can promote the life extension of a rotating motor by preventing encoder damage of the rotating motor through cooling of the rotating motor including a motor shaft, and can prevent the shortening of the life of lubricating grease inside a reducer housing due to external heat by blocking heat transmission to the reducer housing. |
