The seat (1) has a base (3) connected to a backrest (2) and a leg assembly (5). The backrest comprises a lower part (7) and an upper part (6) that is fixed on a structure element. The lower part is connected to the base, where the upper and lower parts are articulated by a pivot connection for allowing the seat to rotate the lower part. The upper part and the lower part are connected with each other in a utilization position. A retracted position of the lower part is pivoted with the base toward a top for clearing a space under the seat. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising a loading space. |
