The present invention relates to an indoor positioning method and system based on the WiFi by using an electronic map and, more specifically, to a method and a system estimating the location of a wireless terminal in a building by using an access point (AP) in a WiFi system but positioning by applying an electronic map of the building on where the AP is located. According to the present invention, the indoor positioning method and system selects a final positioning point in order to perform accurate positioning by performing one or more additional positioning from the outside of a polygon composed of multiple APs which are initially set for positioning of the wireless terminal. Additionally, the present invention applies the electronic map of the building for applying signal attenuation according to the structure in the building to correct the positioning, thereby performing more accurate positioning. |
